Tasks

  • Develop UI / UX prototypes, primarily in the area of simplified programming
  • Contribute in the development of collaborative robotics by applying your creative skills and agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as well as other international development centers operated by ABB
  • Supervise external business partners

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and several years of experience as a software developer in the field of UI / Simplified Programming
  • Basic understanding of collaborative robotics and experience relating to build systems and requirements engineering considered advantageous
  • Excellent C# skills
  • .NET-related experience for UWP applications as well as UWP UI development (XAML, MVVM)
  • Expertise regarding version control systems such as GIT, TFS, or similar and fundamentals of design patterns and UML
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, preferably complemented by German language skills
  • Desire to work within a team-based environment for the purpose of developing cutting-edge solutions as well as excellent communication skills
